1. About these terms
These terms apply when you purchase products from Family Forge through our website familyforge.com.au. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

2. Products and orders
Most of our products are custom-made to your specifications. When you place an order, you'll receive a design preview for approval before we begin production. Once you approve the design, we'll craft your piece.

Prices are listed in Australian dollars and include GST. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but this won't affect orders already placed.

3. Custom orders and design approval
For custom pieces, you'll receive a digital preview before production. You can request revisions until you're happy with the design. Once you approve the final design, we'll proceed with crafting — at this point, the design is locked in.

Please check your design approval carefully. We can't make changes after production has begun.

4. Returns and refunds
Custom-made products: Because each piece is made specifically for you, we can't accept returns or offer refunds on custom orders once the design has been approved and production has started. This is consistent with Australian Consumer Law, which excludes change-of-mind returns for custom-made goods.

Faulty or damaged goods: If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days with photos. We'll arrange a replacement or refund — your choice. Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply.

Not as described: If the product you receive is significantly different from the approved design, get in touch and we'll make it right.

5. Shipping and delivery
We ship throughout Australia. Delivery timeframes and costs depend on your location and the size of your order. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the item is delivered to the address you provided. If an item is lost or damaged in transit, contact us and we'll work with the carrier to resolve it.

6. Warranty
All products come with a 12-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This doesn't cover normal wear from daily use, damage from misuse, or improper care.

This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Intellectual property
All designs, images, logos, and content on our website are the property of Family Forge and are protected by Australian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without our written permission.

Custom designs created for your order remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You are granted a personal, non-commercial licence to use your custom piece.

8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms or your use of our products is limited to the purchase price of the product. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes won't affect orders already placed. The current version will always be available on our website.
